Point Mallard Park 
, located on the banks of the Tennessee River, is one of Decatur’s main attractions and offers a wide variety of recreational activities for all ages. Many of the facilities – including the championship golf course, ice skating arena, tennis courts, and hiking/biking trail – are open all year. Visitors during the summer months cool off at Point Mallard Water Park with its wave pool, towering sky pond, children’s area squirt factory and duck pond, Olympic-sized pool, inner tube and raft slides, beach volley ball courts and so much more. The Strike Zone, driving range and batting cages are great practice areas for sports enthusiasts.
Within walking distance to all the venues, Point Mallard Campground offers 210 shaded sites. The campground can accommodate large and small groups.
