The bid process is usually a joint effort between the Decatur-Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Decatur Parks and Recreation Department.

Yes.


4) What services does the CVB provide to event rights holders?
The CVB provides services beginning with bidding for events. Once an event is secured, the CVB works with Decatur Parks and Recreation Department or other organizations to secure locations. Other services include a housing bureau to arrange hotel accommodations and negotiated rates, arrangement of hotel rebates for the event holder, registration for teams/participants, event feedback in the form of tracking/surveys, welcome bags and coupons, and arranging complimentary rooms for officials.
